As the Administration remains numb on restarting the SMS service, for those of you who are finding it difficult to do without SMSing, here is a method by which you will be able to send the SMS to Airtel subscribers within the J&K Circle. This is applicable only for Airtel subscribers.
Change your SMS service center to : +91 98 100 51905

ReplyDeleteVSAT service is being provided in Kashmir by Hughes. Infinity Access are the authorized providers for Hughes VSAT. They have their office in Bishambernagar. They have different plans based on bandwidth requirements with monthly download limits starting from Rs. 2500 per month upto 15k. Cost of equipment would be somewhere around 80k to 1 lac.
Thanks for the info... 80 k is a bit out of my reach for the initial equiptment. But i'll still try and have a chat with them, if they have something for something less :)
